The Storm
When the tide comes rolling in,
And the mighty oceans roar,
It can go on land so far
That is all, it goes no more.
When the storm clouds gather round us
And the great big raindrops fall,
Just so much will fall to earth
as it heeds the Master's call.
When the load becomes so heavy
That the body cries in pain,
Remember that this too will end
Like the ocean and the rain.
So adorn thyself with gladness,
Remember God is really there,
He takes time to feed the sparrow,
And He always answers prayer.
And the mighty oceans roar,
It can go on land so far
That is all, it goes no more.
When the storm clouds gather round us
And the great big raindrops fall,
Just so much will fall to earth
as it heeds the Master's call.

Ten Little Christians
Ten Little Christians came to church all the time;
One fell out with the preacher, then there were nine.
Nine Little Christians stayed up late;
One overslept on Sunday, then there were eight.
Eight Little Christians on their way to Heaven;
One took the low road, then there were seven.
Seven Little Christians, chirping like chicks;
One didn't like the singing, then there were six.
Six Little Christians seemed very much alive;
One took a vacation, then there were five.
Five Little Christians pulling for Heaven’s shore;
One stopped to take a rest, then there were four.
Four Little Christians each as busy as a bee;
One had his feelings hurt, then there were three.
Three Little Christians couldn't decide what to do;
One couldn't have his way, then there were two.
Two Little Christians each won one more;
Now don't you see, two plus two equals four.
Four Little Christians worked early and late;
Each brought one, now there were eight.
Eight Little Christians if they double as before;
In just seven Sundays, we have one thousand twenty four.
In this jingle there is a lesson true;
You belong either to the building, or to the wrecking crew.

If Jesus Came To Your House
If Jesus came to your house
To spend some time with you,
If He came unexpected,
I wonder what you'd do.
Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room
To such an honored guest
And all the food you'd give to Him
Would be the very best.
And you would keep assuring Him
You're glad to have Him there--
That serving Him in your home
Is joy beyond compare.
But when you saw Him coming,
Would you meet Him at the door
With arms outstretched in welcome
To your heavenly visitor?
Or would you have to change your clothes
Before you let Him in
Or hide some magazines
And put the Bible where they'd been
Would you hide your worldly music
and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right
in, or would you rush about?
And I wonder - if the Saviour
spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing, the
things you always do?
Would you go right on saying, the
things you always say?
Or would life for you continue
as it does from day to day?
Would you take Jesus with you
everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your
plans for just a day or so?
Would you be glad to have Him
meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away,
until His visit ends?
Would you be glad to have Him
stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great
relief when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know,
the things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person, to spend
some time with you.

A little on Daniel MaHarrey
Daniel plays lead guitar, mandolin, and harmonica for The Maharreys as well as sings baritone and lead. He has been a main stay with the group for many years. Through the years Daniel has received numerous awards, and has had a part of every charting song The Maharreys have had.
Daniel is not only an award winning musician, but song writer as well. Two of The Maharrey's top charting songs, "Jesus Can Heal Your Achy Breaky Heart" and "I Was A Man of Constant Sorrow" was co-written by Daniel. He also arranges all of The Maharreys' music.
Daniel was recognized by the Alabama Counsel of the Arts as a Master Musician. Also once again in 2008 Daniel claimed first place on Mandolin, and Flat top Guitar for the state of Alabama. You will enjoy Daniel's heartfelt music I'm sure, but you will also enjoy meeting him at a Maharreys concert.
The Parable Of The Two Servants
There once was a man who had two indentured servants. One day a disagreement arose between them as to who was the greatest in the eyes of their master. So they went to the master of the house and asked him, "My lord, which of us is greater?"
The master of the house replied, "I will let you discover that for yourself. I will ask each of you a question and you must answer truthfully."
So the servants stood before him and he started to question them. To the first servant, he asked, "What do you do for me?"
"Sir, I work in the fields all day long to grow wheat for my lord's granary," the first servant replied. "Then, at night, I go through the house and fill all the lamps so that my lord will have light. For this you pay me a wage, but I hope that one day that I may earn my freedom."
The master nodded his head. He turned to the second indentured servant and asked, "And what do you do for me?"
"Sir," he replied, "I am an educated man. I am well-versed in literature, music, mathematics and science. I teach your children all that I know so that one day they may leave your house and make a success in the world. And when they do, I hope that you will grant me my freedom. In the meantime, you give me a wage for what I do."
Again, the master nodded. Then he turned to a lowly slave who was standing nearby, and asked, "And what do you do for me?"
"You know that I love you, my lord, and my only wish is to do whatever you ask," the slave answered without hesitation. "You bought me and I know that I will be a slave for life, therefore I earn no wage. But you are kind and merciful to me, and do not beat me as other masters beat their slaves. You are wise and just and kind and that is why I love you."
The master of the house smiled. "Then you are the greatest of all my servants and I will make you a free man."
When they heard this, the two servants were aghast. "Why him?" they cried. "We do much more work than he does. He waits around for you to give him an order, but we labor in your fields without orders, teach your children, and light your lamps. We work unceasingly and should be rewarded."
"Yes," the master of the house replied. "You do work in my fields, and do all the other things that you said. But this man wants only to serve me, not himself. He waits patiently until I tell him what I want him to do. His faithfulness has never failed him. He now has his reward -- his freedom. And I will place him as overseer, and you will be his servants. Because of his faithful service to me -- though he was once a lowly slave -- he is truly the greater."
Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. (Ephesians 6:6-8 NIV)

Verse of the day from Judy MaHarrey
Do not strive in your own strength; cast yourself at the feet of the Lord Jesus, and wait upon Him in the sure confidence that He is with you, and works in you. Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart--so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. When I am weak, then I am strong. 2 corinthians 12:10
The Vessel
The Master was searching for a vessel to use; On the shelf there were many - which one would He choose? "Take me", cried the gold one, "I'm shiny and bright, I'm of great value and I do things just right. My beauty and luster will outshine the rest And for someone like You, Master, gold would be the best!"
The Master passed on with no word at all; He looked at a silver urn, narrow and tall; "I'll serve You, dear Master, I'll pour out Your drink, and I'll be at Your table whenever You dine, My lines are so graceful, my carvings so true, And my silver will always compliment You."
Unheeding the Master passed on to the brass, It was wide mouthed and shallow, and polished like glass. "Here! Here!" cried the vessel, "I know I will do, Place me on Your table for all men to view."
"Look at me", called the goblet of crystal so clear, "My transparency shows my contents so dear, Though fragile am I, I will serve You with pride, And I'm sure I'll be happy in Your house to abide."
The Master came next to a vessel of wood, Polished and carved, it solidly stood. "You may use me, dear Master", the wooden bowl said, "But I'd rather You used me for fruit, not for Bread!"
Then the Master looked down and saw a vessel of clay. Empty and broken it helplessly lay. No hope had the vessel that the Master might choose, To cleanse and make whole, to fill and to use.
"Ah! This is the vessel I've been hoping to find, I will mend and use it and make it all Mine." "I need not the vessel with pride of its self; Nor the one who is narrow to sit on the shelf; Nor the one who is big mouthed and shallow and loud; Nor one who displays his contents so proud; Not the one who thinks he can do all things just right; But this plain earthy vessel filled with My power and might."
Then gently He lifted the vessel of clay. Mended and cleansed it and filled it that day. Spoke to it kindly. "There's work you must do, Just pour out to others as I pour into you."
Will you be that vessel today? One to be used by God, with all of His power and might?

Be Still
Be Still, and Know that I Am God,
My Father said to Me,
And I will fill you with My Peace,
And set your Spirit Free.
You are my Own; I've Chosen You:
You are Precious in My Sight.
Give Me your Heart and I Promise
You I'll be Your Guiding Light.
My Love for you will Never Fade
By your side I'll Always Stay.
My Joy will be your Strength and Shield,
If you'll let Me have My Way.
I'm Standing here with Arms
Outstretched I want to Touch and make You Whole. Of My Living Waters, Come and Drink, And I will Quench your Thirsty Soul.
Peace! Be Still! I am with You now,
And no-one could Love You More.
My Love for you will never Die
Of that You can be sure.
That's what my Father said to Me
And I know His Words are true.
I know that He has Set me Free
And He'll do the Same for You.
So just Reach Out, ask Him to Forgive
And Pardon all your Sin.
Ask Him to be your God and King
And He will take You In.

Just for Today
Trust God one day at a time!
Just for today! I will begin the day by praying: "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
Just for today! I will say, "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)
Just for today! I will not worry about my needs, for "...my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
Just for today! I will not fear, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity; but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline." (II Timothy 1:7)
Just for today! I will not harbor doubt and lack faith, for "...without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
Just for today! I will not lack strength, for "...the Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1b)
Just for today! I will not admit defeat, for God "...always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ, ..." (II Corinthians 2:14b)
Just for today! I will not lack wisdom, for, "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask Cod, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)
Just for today! I will not feel condemned, for "..., there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1)
Just for today! I will not be worried or frustrated: "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (I Peter 5:7)
Just for today! I will not be depressed, "...for his compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22b,23)
Just for today! I will not feel alone for Jesus said, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20b)
Just for today! I will not be discontented, "...for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." (Philippians 4:llb)
Just for today! I will not feel worthless, for "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (II Corinthians 5:21)
Just for today! I will not be confused, "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace" (I Corinthians 14:33a KJV)
Just for today! I will not let the pressures of life bother me, when Christ said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
Just for today! I will not feel like a failure, when "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (Romans 8:37)

Letter From Home
A Letter From Home
I had a safe trip. The angels carried me safely into Father Abraham's bosom. Oh, the thrill I felt when I met the one that died for me!
And no matter what you've heard, there's just no words to describe the glories that surround him. I'm satisfied here; every need's been supplied. Just wait till you see my new home.
I'm satisfied because there's no sin here, no murders, no divorce, no abortions, and no need to ever have locks on the doors. Perfect peace reigns here. I'm satisfied because there's no sickness. Why, I've never felt better in my life! I have a brand new body just like Jesus.
And oh, I wish you could hear the singing. David played his harp today, and a great crowd gathered by the river of life and sang a new song. Of course, the angels couldn't sing that song, but they sure were listening. It's really wonderful here, because there are no strangers. Everyone knows me by name.
Why, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego showed me around. Seems like I've been here forever. The weather is great. There's a cool breeze blowing all the time. And you know one of the nicest things, night and darkness never comes. It's light here all the time, for Jesus himself is the light of the city.
Please, remember, I'm safe, I'm satisfied, and I'm not sick anymore. There will be no need for me to write again, because I was told today that nothing here ever changes. In closing, the only thing that would make this wonderful place more complete is for all my family and friends to join me here in Heaven.
Can you just imagine what is waiting on us??

Psalm 62
Psalm 62
1Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
The Lord is out strength and shield. He will NEVER fail you. The storms of life no matter how big or small, may crash all around you, but fear not! God is our Refuge and Help in present time of trouble. Soon the storms will have to cease because the Wind Calmer, if you know Him, is in your boat! Fear not the tough times and tribulations. Tie a knot into the end of your rope and hold on. Our journey here on this earth is nearly complete. Jesus, Himself, will soon be splitting the Eastern sky and the trumpet will soon be sounding. Don't give up now! We're too close to time to leave this ole' world to turn around on Him! If you don't know Him, I plead with you to meet with Him today. Time is running out, and we have no promise of tomorrow. No time left to play games your way, it's either " Get Right" or "Get Left".
Acts 2:38
ACTS 2:38
An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of religious service when she was startled by an intruder. As she caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled, 'Stop -Acts 2:38!' (..turn from your sin...). The burglar stopped dead in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar, 'Why did you just stand there? All she did was yell a scripture to you.' 'Scripture?' replied the burglar, 'She said she had an AXE and two 38's!'
Amazing what The Word will do!!! :-)
The Enemy's Perfect Plan
Let's not allow the enemy to distract us...
Satan called a worldwide convention. In his opening address to his evil angels, he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church. We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth. We can't even keep them from conservative values. But we can do something else. We can keep them from forming an intimate, abiding relationship experience in Christ. If they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken. So let them go to church, let them have their conservative lifestyles, but steal their time, so they can't gain that experience in Jesus Christ. This is what I want you to do, angels. Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we do this?" shouted his angels.
"Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent unnumbered schemes to occupy their minds" he answered. "Tempt them to spend, spend, spend then borrow, borrow, borrow. Convince the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work six or seven days a week, ten to twelve hours a day so they can afford their lifestyles. Keep them from spending time with their children. As their family fragments, soon their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work."
"Overstimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still small voice. Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive, to keep the TV, VCR, CD's and their PC's going constantly in their homes. And see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly. This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."
Fill their coffee tables with magazines and newspapers. Pound their minds with news 24 hours a day. Invade their driving moments with billboards. Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, sweepstakes, mail order catalogues, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering, free products, services and false hopes."
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive. Have them return from their recreation exhausted, disquieted, and unprepared for the coming week. Don't let them go out in nature to reflect on God's wonders. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, concerts and movies instead. And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences and unsettled emotion."
"Let them be involved in soul-winning. But crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Christ. Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family unity for the good of the cause."
It was quite a convention in the end. And the evil angels went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busy, busy, busy and rush here and there.
Has the devil been successful at his schemes? You be the judge.

While there, the group performed several numbers of their own, in addition to performing with other well-known gospel artists, which included Stella Pardon, Tammy Sue Bakker and Branson’s "Vocalist of the Year," Dee Dee Hamilton.
The first hour of each day’s live show was broadcast internationally to countries in Central America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Bakker said he had received e-mails from people who had watched the program from many places all over the globe, including Kuwait.
On Thursday’s show, psychiatrist Dr. Gary Smalley was the featured guest. Smalley has appeared on a number of talk shows, including the Oprah Winfrey Show on several occasions.
While on Jim Bakker’s show he discussed his new book, "The DNA of Relationships." He offered advice for relieving stress in everyday life and feeling safe with one’s spouse.
Pardon was on the show to talk about options for abused spouses, a cause she strongly advocates. She also performed several songs during her appearances on the show, sometimes backed by The Maharreys.
On Friday, Jim Bakker’s daughter, Tammy Sue Bakker was one of the featured guests. She talked about her mother, the former Tammy Faye Bakker and her struggle with cancer. She also performed several numbers with The Maharreys and other gospel artists appearing on the show.
The Jim Bakker Show is usually taped at the Studio City Cafe and broadcast at different times on a number of spiritual stations nationwide. The special live broadcasts that took place last week, may lead to the show permanently being broadcast live, according to Bakker.
After Friday’s show, Paul Maharrey said he felt a definite "energy" in the studio during the show. "It was great" he said. "I love that feeling when everyone is praising our God."
The Maharreys travel all over the country performing at venues large and small. Following Friday’s broadcast, they headed for Dixon, Mo., which is about three hours from Branson, to do a singing. Sunday they were in Walker, La. for a revival at a church there.
In Collusion or Collision?
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” Romans 8:16
A farmer and his farmhand went duck hunting. The farmer said to his friend, “You’re always talking about fighting with the devil. I’m not a Christian, and I never have to fight with the devil.”
The farmhand answered, “Boss, if you and I shot two ducks, one was wounded and one was dead, which one would you go after first?”
The farmer said, “Well, I guess the wounded duck.”
“That’s right. The devil knows you’re a dead duck.”
If the devil doesn’t bother you, it’s because he doesn’t have to bother you since you and he are traveling in the same direction. If you turned around, you’d have a collision with him. Right now, you are in collusion with him.
Are you a child of God? Then praise Him that He has given you the power over Satan and placed you on the pathway to see Him face to face!

What's in The House!! - By Nancy MaHarrey
The story in the Bible in 2 Kings 4:1-7 is about a widow women who approached Elisha with a problem. The creditors were threatening to take her children as bondmen. Elisha asked the woman what he could do for her. Then he asked her what she had in her house. She replied that she only had a pot of oil. He told her to borrow all the pots she could and to fill them with the oil and sell them to pay her debt.
Just as the widow woman approached Elisha with her problem, we alike approach God with our distresses. When we draw near to God's throne, He too says what Elisha said, "What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house?" Many times the answer to our problem already lies within us. For we are the house of God. If you need a mountain moved in your life then use the faith that's in your house. For God has given everyone a measure of faith.
Just as the widow woman had to put forth an effort to collect the pots to use the oil, we too must develop and exercise our faith. If you need faith to move a mountain then develop your faith by exercising the word of God daily. If your problem is financial then begin to give what's in your house. Give your tithes, give your offerings, but most of all give of yourself. If you're lonely and dishearted then look and see what's in your house. Begin to give your time to your family and friends. But most importantly give your time to God. If you need more patience or if you need more wisdom then look in your house. If your house has God as its occupant then the word of God should be resident. If your house is not filled with God's word then you must begin to furnish your house with it. We must begin to use what's in our house--THE WORD OF GOD. If the enemy is attacking you on every side then use the word that's in your house. Proclaim that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER! If the enemy makes ou feel as if God's a million miles away, you can rest in confidence because God's word says, Draw Near To God And He Will Draw Nigh To You. We must use what's in our house.
I urge each one today when you go to the Lord in prayer to wait and listen to see if God says, "What's in the house?". The answer to your problem may already be in your house. You may have to dust if off, repair it, exercise it, and develop it. But it is there. It's not always easy and it may take some time; but, if you will come to the realization that the word of God abides within you( the oil--the anointing) and God has given you the authority to use it, you will see the mountain removed. Once again, if you're hurting you can rise above it by using what's in the house-----THE WORD!!!!
Our Treasures vs God's
The cheerful little girl with bouncy golden curls was almost five. Waiting with her mother at the checkout stand, she saw them, a circle of glistening white pearls in a pink foil box. "Oh please, Mommy. Can I have them? Please, Mommy, please?" Quickly the mother checked the back of the little foil box and then looked back into the pleading blue eyes of her little girl's upturned face. "A dollar ninety-five. That's almost $2.00. If you really want them, I'll think of some extra chores for you and in no time you can save enough money to buy them for yourself. Your birthday's only a week away and you might get another crisp dollar bill from Grandma."
As soon as Jenny got home, she emptied her penny bank and counted out 17 pennies. After dinner, she did more than her share of chores and she went to the neighbor and asked Mrs. McJames if she could pick dandelions for ten cents. On her birthday, Grandma did give her another new dollar bill and at last she had enough money to buy the necklace. Jenny loved her pearls. They made her feel dressed up and grown up. She wore them everywhere, Sunday school, kindergarten, even to bed. The only time she took them off was when she went swimming or had a bubble bath. Mother said if they got wet, they might turn her neck green.
Jenny had a very loving daddy and every night when she was ready for bed, he would stop whatever he was doing and come upstairs to read her a story. One night as he finished the story, he asked Jenny, "Do you love me?" "Oh yes, daddy. You know that I love you." "Then give me your pearls." "Oh, daddy, not my pearls. But you can have Princess, the white horse from my collection, the one with the pink tail. Remember daddy? The one you gave me. She's my very favorite." "That's okay, Honey, daddy loves you. Good night." And he brushed her cheek with a kiss.
About a week later, after the story time, Jenny's daddy asked again, "Do you love me?" "Daddy, you know I love you." "Then give me your pearls." "Oh Daddy, not my pearls. But you can have my baby doll. The brand new one I got for my birthday. She is beautiful and you can have the yellow blanket that matches her sleeper." "That's okay. Sleep well. God bless you, little one. Daddy loves you." And as always, he brushed her cheek with a gentle kiss.
A few nights later when her daddy came in, Jenny was sitting on her bed with her legs crossed Indian-style. As he came close, he noticed her chin was trembling and one silent tear rolled down her cheek. "What is it, Jenny? What's the matter?" Jenny didn't say anything but lifted her little hand up to her daddy. And when she opened it, there was her little pearl necklace. With a little quiver, she finally said, "Here, daddy, this is for you." With tears gathering in his own eyes, Jenny's daddy reached out with one hand to take the dime-store necklace, and with the other hand he reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue velvet case with a strand of genuine pearls and gave them to Jenny. He had them all the time. He was just waiting for her to give up the dime-store stuff so he could give her the genuine treasure.
So it is with our Heavenly Father. He is waiting for us to give up the cheap things in our lives so that he can give us beautiful treasures. Isn't God good? Are you holding onto things that God wants you to let go of. Are you holding on to harmful or unnecessary partners, relationships, habits and activities that you have come so attached to that it seems impossible to let go? Sometimes it is so hard to see what is in the other hand but do believe this one thing... God will never take away something without giving you something better in its place.

I Pray My Way Out of Trouble
Many times my mind is wrapped up in trouble
And my heart gets so heavy too
Sometimes when I sink so low I touch bottom
I kneel down to reach out and he pulls me through.
I pray my way out of trouble
And I ask my dear Lord to help me each day
I pray my way out of trouble
And the dear nail scared hand wipes my teardrops away.
The smallest prayer from the world's bigger sinner
Brings a smile to his sadden face
So I just go to him any time I'm in trouble
Wash my heart in the waters of my Saviour's grace.
I pray my way out of trouble
And I ask my dear Lord to help me each day
I pray my way out of trouble
And the dear nail scared hand wipes my teardrops away
I pray my way out of trouble
And I ask my dear Lord to help me each day
I pray my way out of trouble
And the dear nail scared hand wipes my teardrops away
I Pray My Way Out of Trouble
Many times my mind is wrapped up in trouble
And my heart gets so heavy too
Sometimes when I sink so low I touch bottom
I kneel down to reach out and he pulls me through.

Heart of Ministry
The MaHarreys are just your simple, down home ,family that has been willing to answer the call God has on their lives. They've been traveling up and down the roads for years spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying world through song and preaching. Even though this lifestyle of, big buses, recording studios, and stages with bright lights seem to be such a glamorous life to lead, it all comes with a great responsibility and price. Physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially. These folks go through more than just the every day trials, they have to face extra trails along the way. They work on the side just like anyone else, to have income coming in to supply for their own homes and the ministry. Bro. Paul and Sis. Judy run a carpet cleaning and upholstery business, Glo Carpet and Upholstery. Bro. Daniel and Sis. Nancy run a charter bus company called Vineyard Tours. Everyone else in the band also has jobs on the side also. It takes everyone to make a ministry run as smoothly as possible. Even with all of this, when going into churches, they go on "Love Offering". They intend to get the Gospel out to every sould they can reach.
Don't think it stops there though. They pay the price for the annointing that they choose to carry for the cause of Christ. Satan would love nothing better than to stop the Word from going forth. he throws just as many arrows and stumbling blocks as possible. But, God is always faithful in caring for His children. There's never been a time when He has failed. If you'll be faithful to Him, with what He has for you to do, He always makes a way. Despite what the enemey intends to do to harm the ministry, the Lord always gives the strength to carry on. The MaHarreys have made a commitment to God, that no matter the cost, they will continue to do what God has called them to do.
No matter how many times the ole' bus breaks ,miles away from home, the Truth has to go forward and cannot be stopped. Rememeber to pray for us daily. Your prayers go a long way!
The MaHarreys hope that they can be an encouragement to the Saints along the way, and be a light to the one's who need to see Jesus. If the MaHarreys can be any assistance to you please let us know. Jesus is the only way to go, if you don't know Him, please don't hesitate to except Him today.
If Glo Carpet and Uhpolstry or Vineyard Tours can be of any service to you please give them a call.

There's never been a time when He has failed. If you'll be faithful to Him, with what He has for you to do, He always makes a way. Despite what the enemey intends to do to harm the ministry, the Lord always gives the strength to carry on. Side by Side
Side by Side
They lie on the Table side by side
The Holy Bible and the TV guide
One is well worn and cherished with pride
No not the Bible, but the TV guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see.
Oh, What does it matter turn on the TV
So they open the book in which they confide
No not the Bible the TV guide.
The word of God is seldom read.
Maybe a verse before they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleept and tired as can be.
Not from reading the Bible, from watching T.V.
So then back to the table side by side,
Lie the Holy Bible and the T.V. guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the word.
The plan of salvation is seldom heard.
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free,
Is found in the Bible, not on the T.V.

Statan's Garage Sale
Once upon a time, Satan was having a garage sale. There, standing in little groups were all of his bright, shiny trinkets. Here were tools that make it easy to tear others down for use as stepping stones. And over there were some lenses for magnifying ones own importance, which, if you looked through them the other way, you could also use to belittle others, or even one's self. Against the wall was the usual assortment of gardening implements guaranteed to help your pride grow by leaps and bounds: the rake of scorn, the shovel of jealousy for digging a pit for your neighbor, the tools of gossip and backbiting, of selfishness and apathy. All of these were pleasing to the eye and came complete with fabulous promises and guarantees of prosperity. Prices, of course, were steep; but not to worry! Free credit was extended to one and all. "Take it home, use it, and you won't have to pay until later!" old Satan cried, as he hawked his wares.
The visitor, as he browsed, noticed two well worn, non-descript tools standing in one corner. Not being nearly as tempting as the other items, he found it curious that these two tools had price tags higher than any other. When he asked why, Satan just laughed and said, "Well, that's because I use them so much. If they weren't so plain looking, people might see them for what they were." Satan pointed to the two tools, saying, "You see, that one's Doubt and that one's Discouragement -- and those will work when nothing else will."
The moral is, don't ever let any kind of doubt in or get discouraged. The reason Satan makes everything look so normal and simple, is to be able to decieve and sneak in where you least expect it. Don't let your guard down! He's roaming to steal, kil, and destroy and he'll make his way in through any little loop hole available. Tv, internet, whatever he can get. Becareful, time is running too short for the Lord's coming, to give in, back up, or turn around now!!

The Words of our Mouth by Nancy MaHarrey
Proverbs15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
The words of our Mouth!!! OH, how important they are to our life!!! The words that we speak can either bring life and success to our situations or death into the situations in our lives.
I have learned over the years that if I want my life to prosper, to be a tree of life, then my words must be wholesome. I cannot speak words of defeat, words that tear down my self-image, or words that tear down other people and expect my life to be prosperous. But if I speak words that are in agreement with God's words then I can expect my life to be filled with blessings. The Bible says perverseness is a breach in the spirit. That simply means, when you speak words that are contrary to God's word about yourself and others then you cause a breach, a gap, in the Spirit. You stop the Holy Spirit from flowing in those areas of your life. When you speak words of doubt about yourself such as, " I can't do this or that I'm a failure" then you have blocked the Holy Spirit from doing His work in your life. But if you speak God's word, "I'm the head and not the tail" or "I can do all things in Christ Jesus" then you've opened the avenue for God to work in your situation. Through God's word you will overcome the doubt and accomplish what God has intended for your life! Why? Because God's word IS LIFE! He wants you to succeed!!!
Today, make it a point not to speak what your flesh or your circumstances say but rather speak what God says about your situations. His word is not bound!! Through His word the Holy Spirit can bring change not only to your life but everyone around you!!! Remember, your words not only affect you but everyone around you!
Lord, help me to speak wholesome words today! Amen.

From Judy's Heart
Jesus is moved to happiness every time He sees that you appreciate what He has done for you. Grip His pierced hand and say to Him, "I thank Thee, Savior, because Thou hast died for me." Thank Him likewise for all the other blessings He has showered upon you from day to day. It brings joy to Jesus.
The Beauty of God-Belonging to the Right Time or Season - Nancy MaHarrey
The Beauty of God-Belonging to The Right Time or Season
Acts 3:1-7
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.
There is beauty in all of us even if we don't feel so beautiful. Today, I want to talk to you about a beauty that exceeds any natural beauty-- God's beauty!
In the story above we find a lame man who is carried daily to the Temple to the gate Beautiful to beg for alms. There this man lay in his own despair, want , and need-- having to be dependant on others. Probably feeling useless and thinking he had no purpose or value. This is definately not a picture of beauty, not according to the natural eye. However, this description depicts so many today. We go to church but yet we are crippled by our own despair, want and need. We live in lack and have no spiritual strength because we are bound by our past, low self-esteem, and feelings of having no purpose or value. Because our circumstances seem impossible we have become as the beggar, we watch others go by walking in the fulness of their ministries, jobs, walking in prosperity, joy, and peace. We see others being promoted in life and we sit helplessly by wondering, "Why?". We sit in the ugliness of our situation wondering, "How?".
But the word for you today is don't give up! Don't give in to your circumstances! God has beauty he wants to bring forth in your life. Just as the lame man lay by the gate Beautiful day after day and year after year, even though people thought things would never change for him, even though, his situation seemed impossible, God had a different plan. And God has a different agenda for you!
The word Beautiful means to belong to the right time or season; to flourish. In other words, whether the lame man's friends knew it or not, by placing him by the gate Beautiful they were proclaiming daily that the lame man belonged to the right time and season! That he would flourish! And he did flourish! At his appointed time, Peter and John came by and fastened their eyes on the beggar (seeing the man in his destiny and not his situation) told the lame man in the name of Jesus to rise up and walk. And at their word the lame man stood up out of the ugliness of his situation into the beauty of God's Glory.
Their are some of you today that are like that lame man, you are in a season of waiting. You are waiting for your appointed time or season. God's word for you is don't give up! Just as the lame man was at the gate daily, you must continue to to carry the word God has placed in your spirit. You must hold on to the promise He has given you. Do not abort the word in you and miss your appointed time. Even though everyone may tell you there is no use, God is saying at your appointed time, at the right season He is going to give you beauty for your ashes. Ashes are the residue of something burnt. Some of you have been consumed by your situation leaving you with nothing but the residue of shame, heartache and an emotional roller coaster . You're holding on to the hurt, disappointments, and insults of the fire you've been through. But God is about to cause beauty to arise out of your past, your hurt, and your despair. God is about change your mourning into dancing. That thing in your life that you have been going through that feels like death, He's going to give you an oil of joy for a spirit of heaviness. Somebody is at their appointed time today, just as the lame man was, and God is about to cause you to rise up out of depression into joy, to rise up out of debt into financial blessing, to rise up out of confusion into understanding , to rise up out of turmoil into peace , to rise up out of sickness into health, to rise up out of no purpose into a divine agenda, to rise up out of closed doors into opened doors!!! Know today that God is about to bring beauty forth out of your situation !!!! Don't give UP!!!
Lord, help us to realize your beauty comes in time. Strengthen us to endure until our appointed season, when we become as that tree that's planted by the water that brings forth her fruit in due season! Amen!

Ezekiel Chaper 37..What does it mean to you?
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo, [they were] very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but [there was] no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the LORD.
15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou [meanest] by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo, [they were] very dry.

Reflections From The Heart by Nancy MaHarrey
Samuel 1:1-28
Hannah was someone who knew what it was to experience
emotional turmoil. She was barren. And to be barren in
her day made her subject to ridicule and shame. I
imagine she probably felt useless, having no purpose or
value. Because of her unfruitfulness the scripture
says her adversary provoked her causing her to fret.
How? By constantly reminding her of her condition. The
word fret means to cause emotional strain, to eat or
gnaw into, corrode or fray. In other words, the enemy
had caused such emotional stress in her life that it
had begun to gnaw or corrode away her faith. In so
much, that it began to affect her physically---she
could not eat. She was so emotionally distraught that
her countenance had become one of sorrow. She was
woman who was barren and empty!
You may feel like Hannah-empty! You have
listened to the assaults of the enemy, telling you, you
will not be able to carry or fulfill the word or
ministry that God has spoken into your spirit. And
because you have listened to the voice of your enemy,
you feel barren and useless, having no purpose or
value. You have become like Hannah and are
unfruitful. Wanting to carry the vision, the word, the
purpose of God; but, instead you are filled with
emptiness. You have allowed your circumstances to gnaw
away your faith. Your countenance has become one of
sorrow, depression, worry, tension, and fear. Instead
of joy you live day by day under mental exhaustion and
strain. But God is saying to you today, “Don’t look
at your condition but your position!”. And that’s
exactly what Hannah did.
Hannah went to the temple with her husband as
according to custom. The temple represents the
presence of God. In other words, Hannah went to God’s
presence. It’s in God’s presence that you learn to get
your eyes off your condition and see your position. It
was there that she poured her heart out to God. It was
in His presence she told God to look upon her
affliction, to see her emptiness, to see her
unfruitfulness, to she how barren she was, to see the
accusations of the enemy. And when she had deposited
her situation into God’s hands, the priest came and
thought Hannah was drunk. Let me insert here, “Isn’t
that like the religious world! Not understanding when
you really get in God’s presence.” When Hannah
explained to the priest she was praying he told her,
her request was granted. Then the scripture said
Hannah ate and her countenance was sad no more. And
according to her appointed time she brought forth a son
named Samuel, meaning God heard.
It is in our time of feeling unfruitful and barren that
we must go to the presence of the Lord. It’s in His
presence that things happen. We too, must be like
Hannah and cry God look at my affliction, see the
emptiness, see how barren and unfruitful I am, see the
accusations of the enemy. You may be entertaining
thoughts or feelings of having no purpose or that
your situation will never change, but it’s in God’s
presence that God causes you to see beyond your
condition and impregnates you with His divine agenda.
The word that God has spoken to you must be conceived
in the divine realm before it can be manifested in the
natural realm. This was true with Hannah. Her
conception of Samuel took place in the spirit realm
before it ever took place in the natural. What am I
saying? Hannah acted in the natural in accordance with
what she knew had been conceived in the Spirit. How? By
her actions. Hannah’s whole countenance changed before
Samuel was ever conceived in the natural. She believed
what God had spoken in her spirit before it was ever
manifested. In other words, she no longer walked
around in insecurity and no purpose. She knew God had
placed His divine agenda within her and that it would
come forth in God’s appointed time. See, when faith is
combined with the Word it produces life. If you want
things to change you’ve got to let faith carry the
Word-not fear!
Today, don’t abort the word God has placed within you.
At your appointed time God’s going to cause the word He
has planted in your spirit to come forth. No matter
what your circumstances dictate, you must be like
Hannah and walk in assurance that God is able to
manage, use and control your situation. Your
countenance and actions must be one of faith and not
fear. Your speech and actions must depict you know
God’s going to do what He said He would do regardless
of your adversity. You may not see it right now but at
your appointed time God’s going to begin to bring
forth your Samuel. Your enemy is going to know you have
been heard of God! At your appointed time doors are
going to open, healing is going to come forth, joy is
going to spring forth , restoration to your home will
arise, and divine purpose will stand up in your life.
Today, make it a point to go to the presence of God.
Get in his presence driving in your car, at work , and
at home. For it’s there that you will see beyond your
condition and see your divine position. Even if things
don’t change for you immediately, don’t abort the
promise! But carry it until your time of deliverance -
for I hear a Samuel crying!!!!!
Lord, help us this year to walk according to our divine
position instead of our condition. Let your word come
forth in our life. Amen!
