My Last Dollar

Living on a tight budget just trying to make ends meet,
I walked out of the grocery store with a little food for us to eat.
Loaded my car thinking about how hard things were,
Then I noticed a woman and child sitting on the street curb.
The five dollars I had in my pocket was all we had left,
There wasn't any extra for us let alone anyone else!
I entered my car to head home and drove away,
Wondering how we're going to get by. Oh what a day!
The image of the woman and child just wouldn't leave my mind,
Knowing they had to be hungry and wishing someone would be kind.
I thought about that five dollars all wadded up in my pocket,
How that could help them to get at least a loaf of bread from the market.
Driving through the last block, stopping at the traffic light,
It won't be long now and they'll be left hungry and cold in the night.
Their memory of them and that last five just kept haunting me,
With everything inside, I knew I had to go to them while outside I could see.
I sped through the traffic to get to them with my last dollar,
Then pulled up to find a mother with a son not even strong enough to holler.
I ran to the store with that five dollars and bought what I could,
For that mother and child I'd give everything I had, I would!
Returning to their location with some food in hand,
I walked over to the mother and sat the bag on the sand.
Yes, it was my last dollar, but, I don't have any regrets,
God always supplies what we need, and calms our frets.

Carpenter and The Cracks

Carpenter And The Cracks

Walking through the house, wood creaking under my feet,
Looking down, I seen cracks in the floor, where the boards use to meet.
So much dirt and grit stuck between them, too stubborn to be cleaned,
Not sure what to do about it , entirely too much work it seemed.
I wanted to eliminate this problem, so I knew I had to call on one who knew the facts,
So with very little effort, I called a carpenter, to come and mend the cracks.
He tore it all up, and started again, when he finished, the floor was completely redone,
There wasn’t any creaking or cracks to be found, he had mended each one.
Then I thought about our hearts, with the hurt and brokenness that this world causes,
How many times we just try to deal with and hide it, causing life many pauses.
If we would just call on the carpenter , Jesus, who has the facts, and let Him in,
He would tear it up, heal the hurt, remove the pain and wash away all sin.
Let Jesus come into your heart today my friend,  please don’t hesitate,
He’ll mend the cracks, clean the dirt and grit, friend don’t wait!

MaHarrey Update!

Dear Friends,
Please be in prayer with us in referance to our bus. We continue to keep having bus problems and breaking down. God has provided for us before and continues to, and we will not allow the Devil to stop us from spreading the Gospel. Please believe with us that we'll be able to find someone who can repair the problems that keep reoccuring or that God will send us the funds for a new one. We know He won't fail us! Thank you all dearly! Keep praying for us as we are up and down these roads as well.
Later this month, Daniel and Bro. Paul will be going to Louisiana to start filming the Gator Hunting episode for Crossroad Adventures. Keep them as well in your prayers that things will go smoothly and be safe!
  Blessings to you all!
